🌊 Prologue — The Infinite Waters Before All Worlds “Before flame, before form, before thought itself—there was only the Ocean.” “Aqua Aeterna Dei—Al-Mā’ al-Azalī—the Eternal Waters of God—stretched beyond every measure and name.” Thus speaks the Logos ( ὁ Λόγος , Verbum Dei , al-Kalima ): “I moved upon the Face of the Waters, yet the Waters were Myself. Words-As-Oceans: A Theology of Infinite Language Prologue — The Sea of Speech “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was an Ocean.” Every civilization has intuited that the act of speaking is more than communication; it is creation. In this essay I propose a model of language in which each word is an ocean of meaning , a living system within the infinite heart and mind of the Divine Logos.
