The Oceanic Theology of the Infinite God
🌊 Prologue — The Infinite Waters Before All Worlds “Before flame, before form, before thought itself—there was only the Ocean.” “Aqua Aeterna Dei—Al-Mā’ al-Azalī—the Eternal Waters of God—stretched beyond every measure and name.” Thus speaks the Logos ( ὁ Λόγος , Verbum Dei , al-Kalima ): “I moved upon the Face of the Waters, yet the Waters were Myself. I divided not one from another, for every current was a thought, every drop a word, every wave a breath of My own Heart.” Before any cosmos or creature existed, there flowed the Countless Bottomless Oceans —the Infinite Heart and Mind of God ( Nous Theou , ‘Aql Ilāhī ). Each Ocean was an attribute, idea, and love made liquid—an endless depth of living awareness. They were Light beyond light , appearing as darkness to finite sight ( Φῶς ἐν σκοτίᾳ ).
