The Projection and the Mold

Image
In reality, we have two primary foundations: Energy and the fabric of Spacetime. Energy is the method by which all things are formed through. Matter is energy, just contained, structured, and given mass by the fields that contain energy as matter. If those fields are rendered ineffective, matter would simply return to a free energy state. Space is the matrix or arena by which matter and energy takes forms and moves through points in space and points in time. They are interdependent. You can't have energy without space, and you can't have space without energy. Some philosophers, such as the Greek thinker Plato, have argued that there may be another reality which profoundly influences and "forms" the constructs and arrangements of matter and energy. This reality, though hypothetical, is the reality of Forms and Ideas. Forms are static and unchanging and most likely have existed forever and will continue to do so. Matter, on the other hand, decays

The Immortal and the Creatures

In a world not unlike our own, there was a race of creatures not unlike ourselves. They were simple, with simple minds, simple interests and simple goals. They had simple beliefs about the world and simple lifestyles. Like us, they were bound to the decay of entropy and time, and faced death. One day, a being of a significant and profound degree of greater complexity and advancement came upon these creatures. This being could not die, and was not a creature like them. He told them to the absolute the true nature of existence. These creatures were like very young children to him in their intellectual and comprehension sophistication. To them, the immortal was alien and transcended anything they had encountered before. The immortal told them the nature of eternity and how to live, how to act, and what to do. He told them of love. He told them of good and evil. He told them of faith and of purpose, but the creatures did not understand. They heard, but could not comprehend to certainty wha

Trials

Trials: When waves of doubt besiege me, I look for truth and light. When mountains of fear obstruct me, I find my faith is sight. When fathoms of guilt submerge me, I find relief in grace. When boulders of loss bombard me, I look for a tranquil place. When clouds of failure cover me, I pierce them with resilience. When the sting of hate confronts me, I hold fast in my forgiveness. When the cloak of death engulfs me, I cut at it with valor. When the snare of iniquity entraps me, I break the snare with love's awesome power Of all the trials I may face I know this to be true and right, That I will face the darkest days, With God's endless and undying light.

The Endless Expanse

The Endless Expanse: The heavens above are endless, An expanse beyond our reach, The void a veil of blackness, Hiding what they can teach, The world a rock that's priceless, Its surface cradling life We wish we could be victorous, Over our reoccurring strife, If we continue the destruction, Of the only world we know, The endless expanse of space, Is the only place we can go, But what is up there, really? Planets that can sustain our species? I think it might be silly, Hoping we can reach these, The endless expanse of space, Too big to comprehend, If we do not cause the ruining to cease We will surely meet our end.

The Signs of Decay

The signs of Decay: With no respect and reverence, in pride we give no recompense, to those who toiled and sweat and bled, we reap the fruits of death instead. We go after each other, some hate their own mothers, for petty and trivial faults and flaws. We distort the truth and change the laws. We care much less for the sick and in need, Sacred things forsaken for the sake of greed, Our society went from valuing valor, to casting honor aside for the sake of power, I fear that because of these sins, there will be a day, Where our streets and our nation will succumb to decay, For a nation like ours, the death will be slow, The price of our power, time will only show That foolishness, arrogance, selfishness and pride,  will bear its poisoned fruits and red tides, And sometimes what kills you has the sweetest of tastes, You often don't feel it until its too late. Truth to be told, there is always hope. Decay and corruption don't have to win the day We aren'

I Hope One Day

I Hope One Day: I hope one day I can know peace, I hope one day I will be in love, I hope one day that life will make sense, I hope one day I will come to know God's grace, and dwell in His presence, I hope one day I feel no fear, These pains I have will go I hope one day that joy and love are all I have to know, I hope one day I will not doubt, or shed another tear, I hope one day the voice of truth is all my ears will hear, I ask that when that day appears, And glory shows its face, I shall truly feel amazing grace, And nothing left to fear

The Sun Will Rise/The Great Disguise

The Sun Will Rise/ The Great Disguise: Tomorrow I know the sun will rise, and send its fire upon the skies. Out of my bed I am to rise, and continue with this great disguise. I'll perform the acts, and face the day. My mind and soul is here to stay Against my will, with great dismay For something else, I long and pray I put on a mask that hides the pain For life, I have a great disdain, Deep in my heart and on my brain I wish for peace and freedom again I tell myself it will be over soon The sun will set, so will the moon, But in my life it is but noon, It surely won't be over soon. The mask I wear, my great disguise The veil I've pulled over my own eyes. The tales of grief and the greatest of lies Will never cease the sun to rise.
