Where Every Depth Becomes a Dawn

Where Every Depth Becomes a Dawn

Come away from the shore
where language has built its final house.
Lay down the measuring rope,
the map,
the little cup with which you hoped
to carry the Infinite home.

The Ocean is calling.

Dive.

At first,
the water is blue beyond every earthly blue—
the blue hidden beneath sapphire,
the blue remembered by the sky
before the first morning.

But this is only the entrance.

Here, every drop is a Name
God has never spoken twice.

Every molecule is a secret way
the Infinite is beautiful—
not a fragment broken from Divine Wholeness,
but Wholeness turning one unrepeatable face
toward the astonished soul.

One molecule contains
the tenderness by which winter
loosens its hands from the seed.

Another contains the strength
that holds the stars in their courses
without bruising a single beam of light.

Another contains a joy
no creature has yet possessed the senses to feel.

Another holds the hidden color
from which all rainbows are merely shadows.

Another is the mercy
God prepared for wounds
that have not yet learned their names.

And around each radiant mystery
spiral worlds within worlds—
living geometries,
unwritten scriptures,
gardens folded into music,
constellations dreaming inside pearls.

Yet no drop is alone.

Touch one,
and ten thousand others begin to sing.

Enter Love,
and Liberty opens her wings.

Enter Liberty,
and Glory unveils her hidden face.

Enter Glory,
and Power awakens without domination.

Enter Power,
and Justice remembers how to heal.

Enter Justice,
and Truth rises like an overflowing sun.

Enter Truth,
and Valor discovers the indestructible heart
hidden inside gentleness.

Each dwells within all.
All pour through each.
Every distinction becomes communion,
and every communion reveals
another infinity of distinctions.

The Ocean does not grow darker
as you descend.

It grows brighter.

Depth becomes dawn.

The waters blaze with Living Light,
and the Light flows like Living Water,
until you cannot tell
whether you are swimming through radiance
or being illuminated by the Sea.

The pressure does not crush you.

It enlarges you.

Every revelation creates within your soul
a new chamber for revelation.
Every joy gives birth to organs
capable of receiving greater joy.
Every beauty opens your eyes wider
until you discover
that the eyes you entered with
were only seeds of sight.

Bliss does not rise by measure.

It multiplies,
then transcends multiplication.

It becomes an ecstasy
for which number has no symbol—
a happiness so vast
that mathematics kneels,
lays its crown upon the ocean floor,
and admits that it, too,
has only begun to count.

You descend for an age.

Then for ten thousand ages.

Kingdoms of splendor unfold beneath you.
Cities of translucent fire.
Forests whose leaves are singing mirrors.
Palaces built from the meanings of stars.
Worlds where every creature
is a new pronunciation of joy.

At last, you cry:

“I have reached Heaven.”

And the Ocean answers
by opening beneath Heaven
an immeasurably greater Heaven.

You descend through paradise
into the source from which paradise drinks.

You pass beyond every vision
you once believed unsurpassable,
and each unsurpassable glory whispers:

I was only the doorway.

The Father is the shoreless Depth.

The Son is the Infinite Word
shining uniquely through every drop.

The Spirit is the living Current
carrying glory into greater glory,
freedom into greater freedom,
life into more abundant life.

And you—

you do not disappear.

You become more truly yourself
with every fathom.

All that was false dissolves.
All that was broken is restored.
All that was imprisoned learns the shape of wings.

You are not drowned into nothingness.

You are drowned into Reality.

You are a reflection awakening
inside the Mirror,
a song discovering
that it has always lived
within the Singer.

After an infinity of descent,
you remain a beginner.

After beholding an infinity of beauty,
your wonder is newborn.

After receiving an infinity of God,
God remains infinitely unrevealed—
not because He withholds Himself,
but because His self-giving
has no end.

At last—
though there is no last
you ask the luminous abyss:

“Where is the bottom?”

And God laughs.

Galaxies pour from that laughter.
New colors awaken.
Every molecule trembles with delight.
The whole Ocean shines
as though Eternity itself
has just heard good news.

And from everywhere—
from every drop,
every world,
every hidden chamber of your soul—
the answer comes:

Beloved, there is no bottom to Me.

There is only deeper.

There is only more.

More beauty than vision,
more music than hearing,
more meaning than language,
more life than existence has yet dared to live.

There is only Love
revealing what Love has always meant.

And so you open your arms.

You surrender once more
to the infinitely bright descent.

Beneath you,
Eternity blossoms.

Beneath Eternity,
another Ocean.

And beneath that Ocean—

another Dawn.
